These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Kollel Torah Panamá website and mobile application (the “Service”), operated by Kollel Torah Panamá (“the Kollel,” “we,” “us”). By using the Service or creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• Community-member accounts are reviewed and approved by Kollel staff before full access is granted.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not: submit false, harmful, or unlawful content; impersonate others; attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours; interfere with, disrupt, probe, or test the security or integrity of the Service; use automated means to access or scrape it; or use it to harass others or send spam. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.

3. Bookings, classes & activities

Session bookings, group-class (shiur) sign-ups, and Kids-Activity requests are requests that a teacher or staff member may accept or decline. Times, availability, and activities may change, and requests are not guaranteed to be fulfilled.

4. Donations

Donations are voluntary and are processed securely by a third-party payment processor. Unless otherwise required by law, donations are non-refundable; if you believe a payment was made in error, contact info@koleltorah.com and we will try to help.

5. Intellectual property

• The Kollel’s educational content that the Kollel owns is made available under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 license. See the Content License page for what you may do with it.
• The Service’s software, name, logo, and design are the property of the Kollel and are not covered by that license. All rights reserved.
• Content you submit (such as messages or notes) remains yours, but you grant the Kollel a limited right to store and use it to operate the Service.

6. Educational content

Materials provided through the Service are offered for Torah study and general informational purposes. They are not a substitute for individual rabbinic, legal, financial, medical, or other professional guidance, and we make no warranty as to their completeness or fitness for any particular purpose.

7. Availability & changes to the Service

We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or anyone else for any such change or interruption.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Kollel and its staff and volunteers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Kollel, its staff, and volunteers from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account). We may suspend or end access for conduct that violates these Terms or harms the community or the Service.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms. We will post the new version here with an updated date.

12. Governing law & contact

Estos Términos de Uso (“Términos”) rigen el uso del sitio web y la aplicación móvil de Kollel Torah Panamá (el “Servicio”), operados por Kollel Torah Panamá (“el Kollel”, “nosotros”). Al usar el Servicio o crear una cuenta, usted acepta estos Términos. Si no está de acuerdo, no use el Servicio.

1. Elegibilidad y cuentas

• Debe tener al menos 16 años para crear una cuenta.
• Las cuentas de miembros de la comunidad son revisadas y aprobadas por el personal del Kollel antes de otorgar acceso completo.
• Usted es responsable de mantener la confidencialidad de sus credenciales y de la actividad en su cuenta. Avísenos de inmediato si sospecha un uso no autorizado.
• Proporcione información veraz y manténgala actualizada.

2. Uso aceptable

Usted se compromete a no hacer mal uso del Servicio. En particular, no: enviará contenido falso, dañino o ilícito; suplantará a otros; intentará acceder a cuentas o datos que no le pertenecen; interferirá, interrumpirá, sondeará o probará la seguridad o integridad del Servicio; usará medios automatizados para acceder o extraer datos; ni lo usará para acosar a otros o enviar spam. Podemos suspender o eliminar las cuentas que incumplan estas reglas.

3. Reservas, clases y actividades

Las reservas de sesiones, las inscripciones a clases grupales (shiurim) y las solicitudes de Actividades para Niños son solicitudes que un maestro o miembro del personal puede aceptar o rechazar. Los horarios, la disponibilidad y las actividades pueden cambiar, y no se garantiza que las solicitudes se cumplan.

4. Donaciones

Las donaciones son voluntarias y se procesan de forma segura mediante un procesador de pagos externo. Salvo que la ley exija lo contrario, las donaciones no son reembolsables; si cree que un pago se realizó por error, escriba a info@koleltorah.com e intentaremos ayudar.

5. Propiedad intelectual

• El contenido educativo que el Kollel posee se ofrece bajo la licencia Creative Commons Atribución-NoComercial-CompartirIgual 4.0. Vea la página de Licencia de Contenido para saber qué puede hacer con él.
• El software del Servicio, el nombre, el logotipo y el diseño son propiedad del Kollel y no están cubiertos por esa licencia. Todos los derechos reservados.
• El contenido que usted envía (como mensajes o notas) sigue siendo suyo, pero otorga al Kollel un derecho limitado para almacenarlo y usarlo a fin de operar el Servicio.

6. Contenido educativo

Los materiales ofrecidos a través del Servicio son para el estudio de Torá y con fines informativos generales. No sustituyen la orientación individual rabínica, legal, financiera, médica u otra orientación profesional, y no garantizamos su exhaustividad ni su idoneidad para un propósito particular.

7. Disponibilidad y cambios del Servicio

Podemos agregar, modificar, suspender o descontinuar cualquier parte del Servicio en cualquier momento, con o sin aviso. No somos responsables ante usted ni ante terceros por dichos cambios o interrupciones.

8. Renuncias y limitación de responsabilidad

El Servicio se proporciona “tal cual” y “según disponibilidad”, sin garantías de ningún tipo, expresas o implícitas. En la máxima medida permitida por la ley, el Kollel y su personal y voluntarios no serán responsables por daños indirectos, incidentales, especiales o consecuentes, ni por pérdida de datos, derivados de su uso (o imposibilidad de uso) del Servicio.

9. Indemnización

Usted acepta indemnizar y eximir de responsabilidad al Kollel, su personal y voluntarios frente a cualquier reclamo, pérdida o gasto que surja de su mal uso del Servicio o del incumplimiento de estos Términos o de cualquier ley o derecho de terceros.

10. Terminación

Puede dejar de usar el Servicio y eliminar su cuenta en cualquier momento (Ajustes → Eliminar cuenta). Podemos suspender o finalizar el acceso por conductas que infrinjan estos Términos o perjudiquen a la comunidad o al Servicio.

11. Cambios a estos Términos

Podemos actualizar estos Términos ocasionalmente. El uso continuado del Servicio tras una actualización significa que acepta los Términos revisados. Publicaremos la nueva versión aquí con una fecha actualizada.
